Notification settings and WebDAV access
This guide explains the controls inside Profile. Personal identity and locale are described in Profile and personal settings; this page covers delivery channels, domain filters, browser permission, and the separate Disk WebDAV credential.
Personal choices and company policy
The profile stores personal choices, while company policy decides which channels and domains are available. Visible options can differ for staff and extranet users; staff commonly see Tasks, CRM, Chats, Mailbox, and Documents.
Delivery controls
Global switches control toasts, browser push, sound, the tab-title counter, and Do Not Disturb (DND). Domain switches cover task changes, CRM and chat messages, new mailbox messages, document updates, signatures, and inbound exchange. New notification categories are kept after portal updates so settings are not silently lost.
Use Save to apply the draft and Reset to restore the last saved values. If saving fails, keep the last confirmed values and retry after checking the page. Technical failure text can be a server response rather than usable guidance: do not copy or publish it—record the route and time, then contact an administrator.
DND, push, and email
DND filters delivery rather than deleting events. Important notifications pass while it is active when Allow high-priority during DND is enabled; events remain available in the bell/feed.
Push needs the profile setting plus browser permission for this portal. Change the site permission if it is denied; unsupported browsers cannot provide push. Email works only where company email delivery is configured.
Operational checks and retention
An unavailable channel is not enabled by a browser default. Read the reason shown in Profile before promising delivery. DND filters delivery rather than deleting events: notifications remain in the bell/feed. If saving fails, keep the last confirmed values and retry.
WebDAV app password
Create or regenerate the separate Disk WebDAV app password from Profile. It is shown once, so store it in a password manager; the main portal password is not a WebDAV credential. Regenerate after device loss, handoff, suspected exposure, or an access change. An app password does not grant access to a Disk space by itself.
Safe review
If a channel is unavailable, read the reason shown in Profile and check company policy. Verify browser permission and Disk-space access before troubleshooting. Keep passwords, tokens, private links, real files, and customer data out of demonstrations and screenshots.
