Global search
Global search is in the portal header. It searches objects you can access across tasks, CRM, chats, feed, mailbox, documents, disk, calendar, automation and connected channels.
Search
- Select the search icon in the header.
- Enter part of a name, text, or identifier. Results update as you type.
- Check the domain, object type, title, and short preview.
- Select a result to open its object or context. Use Show more after the first eight results.
Results are limited to objects you can access. No result does not prove that an object was deleted: check permissions, query spelling, and index status.
Keyboard and actions
Use ↑/↓ to move between results, Enter to open the selected result, and Esc to close search. Some cards offer actions such as open, reply in chat, mark as read, change a task status, complete a workflow task, or mute an object. Actions appear only when supported and permitted; verify the result in the opened object.
Updating indexes
If a source is rebuilding, the portal can warn that results are partial or the index is updating. Do not treat an empty response as proof that data is absent; retry later. Mailbox results may wait for a separate mail projection.
Good practice
- Start with a distinctive word or part of a title, then narrow the query.
- Open disputed results and verify context, owner, and date.
- Do not put secrets, tokens, or unnecessary personal data in queries.
- If no quick action is available, open the object normally and check your permissions.
